Value engineering (V.E.) is a set of systematic and applicable techniques which are used to detect the function of a product at a minimum cost. This technique is utilized to reduce the project construction cost taking into consideration the minimum acceptable factor of safety. By use of the value engineering methodology, it would be possible to study different aspects of the project, and ultimately improve the quality, and reduce the construction costs and duration on the team work basis, with a creative manner and within a short period of time.
